Greetings,
I've
heard how time-consuming it is to do a blog, and to do it well. Really,
it hasn't been the blog itself or having enough topics rattlin' in my head
that's kept me away from you all. I just outta nowhere got slammed with
interview requests - five at present count, four of which were pre-recorded,
meaning I've spent a whole lotta time in WGXC 90.7 FM's Studio B editing my heart out!
Tomorrow on the WGXC Morning Show, host Peetie Pete is gonna air my pre-recorded interview with pianist Marcus Roberts. It was great! So were my interviews with trumpeter David Weiss of The Cookers and local musicians pianist, educator
and owner of Sunjump Records John Esposito and drummer and educator Jeff
"Siege" Siegel last week. This Saturday on WGXC's Saturday
Morning Serial at 11am, my pre-recorded interview with Tim Livingston, lead
vocalist with The Last Conspirators and host of WGXC's Radio Warfare.
I've previewed their performance at this weekend's Hudson
Music Festival in Hudson, NY.
So, can we say that our Gregarious
Misanthrope has been anything other than misanthropular? (it's my
blog. Lemme make up words.)
So, I'll get you all up to speed
